Content Planner
"... Being an influencer and content creator requires that you interact with various social media networks as a near-full-time job on the side, there's tons of organization and planning involved. Content creators who have the money most often hire an assistant who helps them to manage their never-ending workload, yet most are stuck struggling to profit sufficiently to afford the support. While reading Jill Walker Rettberg’s Seeing Ourselves Through Technology: How We Use Selfies, Blogs, and Wearable Devices to See and Shape Ourselves for another assignment during our class, the chapter on Automated Diaries coincided with my then formulating thoughts on this project. This chapter explains our need to log our daily lives -- hether it’s for a more organized, productive existence or the solace of mind provided when we document our inner thoughts.
"...I came up with the idea of creating a planner /calendar through which small businesses owners and independent content creators can most optimally organize their postings and schedules. It would be a physical, ready-to-sell product intended for individual usage. The project is entitled Content, as either definition of the word can be effectively employed in context, simultaneously conveying 'social media content' and 'a state of peaceful happiness.' The goal of the planner is to eliminate excess stress by providing a simple, physical space for outlining social media posts and events."
