Connecting with a Broader Audiemce

In this thread I touch upon the different instances in which Mexican culture meets Western mainstream culture. I like to draw parallels between them both in an effort to have something to connect about with a broader audience. I think that issues of mental health and social justice can be talked about without it being a strain to ether side.

As I highlight the Fast and the Furious, along with the lowriders, I want people of all different backgrounds to have commonality, connection, and conversation about these things that are attractions....I want people to know that sometimes they bear the weight of being intuitive and empathic in a society that is square and apathetic.

I want to bring Art Therapy to people. In a way that's accessible and not academic. I want people to have an active role in their recovery process. I want to see Art outside of the confines of museums, galleries, and clinics. I want people to start acknowledging cooking as a form of Art. I want people to recognize landscape workers, and construction workers, and seamstresses. I wish I was some kind of talent acquisition Queen so that everyone got placed where they are meant to be and where their gifts would make them flourish.
