The score at Halftime was Huygens 17 - Rogue River 17. Heading into the locker room, Griff and Durango looked grim. Meanwhile, in Presidents House, it was Mira's turn to serve lunch. Avocado and cucumber soup was chilling in the refrigerator. "Not Durango's idea of lunch", Mira remarked. "But I think you will like it". Caydance had deposited a bottle of Champagne in the Presidents house refrigerator. Mira filled soup bowls with avocado and cucumber soup, garnished with parsley and black pepper. On the table lay a sourdough baguette. Caydance filled glasses with champagne.
"In Seattle next week, once again I'm the soloist in Mozart's Flute Concerto no. 1, so if Huygens loses today, I won't be home for a while. Are you still looking for the whereabouts of the missing occupant of the studio in the Hotel California Trail?"

There, they will begin a search across France for the missing soldier once known as Ted Treharne, but now probably bearing a French name.
